Mary Horton

Mrs. Mary Rebecca Horton, 77, of Merigold, MS, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Braswell officiating. Interment will be at New Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Horton was born in Cleveland, MS on March 7, 1936, to Benjamin Franklin Sibley and Margaret Watson. On October 4, 1954, she married Kenneth Wayne Horton in Cleveland, MS. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was in sales for 30+ years. She also enjoyed reading and hunting.
She is preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Wayne Horton; parents, B.F. Sibley & Margaret Watson; brothers, Clarence Sibley & B.F. Sibley Jr; and sister, Elaine Kendall.
Mrs. Horton is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Larry) Long of Cleveland; sons, Steve (Tina) Horton of Merigold, Scott (Laura) Horton of Merigold, and Shaun (Lisa) Horton of Merigold; granddaughters, Jennifer Long, Natalie Horton, Kerry Horton, Madalyn Horton, Talia Horton, and Kelly Horton; grandsons, Michael Long, Ken Horton, Dylon Horton, Cole Horton, and Kolby Horton; Great-grandson, Cody Myers; and great-granddaughter, Sara Grace Myers.
