Mrs. Mary Joyce Kendall Howell, 72, of Cleveland passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at her home. Visitation will be 1:00- 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 201,3 at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Cody Childress and Bro. Keith Kendall officiating. Interment will be in Delta Heights Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Howell was born June 10, 1940, to Lester Eugene Kendall and Waunda Elaine Sibley. She married Dorsey Ray Howell February 8, 1958. She was a seamstress for over 50 years, working out of her home as well as for Shaw Industries and Kamien's. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, and most importantly she loved to spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dorsey Howell; children, Allan Howell (Angie) of Cleveland, Waunda White (Michael) Larned, Kansas, Anita Howell of Vardaman , Camille Yarborough (Mark) of Sardis; grandchildren, Shane (Courtney) Howell, Jeremy White, Justin White, Joshua White, Cody (Crystal) Childress, Mary (Davy) Childress O'Riley, Cole Yarborough, John Allan Howell, John Mark Yarborough; Great-grandchildren, Paige White, Jonathan Childress, Brayden Childress, Audrey Childress, Lucas Howell; brother, Travis Kendall, Charles Kendall, Ray Kendall, Keith Kendall; sister Louise Storey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shane Howell, Jeremy White, Justin White, John Allan Howell, John Mark Yarborough, Cole Yarborough, Charlie Kendall, and Davy O'Riley. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Joshua White, Mary Louise O'Riley, Paige White, Jonathan Childress, Brayden Childress, Audrey Childress, and Lucas Howell.
