Mary Juanice Fuller Goodman of Cleveland, MS passed away on November 3, 2021. A Graveside service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 11 a.m. in Whynot, MS at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
Juanice was born to Mr. Herbert Fuller & Pearl Hamburg Fuller. Juanice grew up in Lauderdale County where she attended school and met the love of her life James Edward Goodman. They married in 1945 and were married for 70 years until his passing. Juanice was a devoted mother and wife who spent her life raising her family. James and Juanice were active in the Baptist Church in Cleveland and Shelby, MS for many years. She loved watching birds outside her window, especially hummingbirds. Juanice also loved gardening and was an excellent cook. Most of all Juanice was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who left a legacy of love, compassion, and devotion.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Goodman, parents, Herbert and Pearl Fuller, and seven siblings.
Juanice is survived by her two sons, Thomas Edward Goodman (Elizabeth L.) of Carrolton, MS and James David Goodman (Carolyn M) of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Edward Augustus Goodman (Elizabeth M) of Chicago, IL, Jesse Vaughan Goodman deHombre (Adalberto) of Brentwood, TN, Caroline Clements Goodman May (Steve) of Nashville, TN, James Maxwell Goodman of Carrolton, MS, Mary Elizabeth Goodman Harris (Benjamin) of Madison, MS; and 8 great grandchildren.
