Mrs. Mary Louise Oswalt, 80, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016, at Providence Assisted Living. Visitations will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, and 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home. Interment will be in North Cleveland Cemetery. Mrs. Oswalt was born in Cleveland on August 9, 1935, to Thomas Elmer Steadman and Lorene Mosley Steadman. She worked for 42 years at Baxter Laboratory. She enjoyed reading, watching Price Is Right, traveling and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels and the Green Bay Packers. Most importantly she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas E. Steadman; mother, Lorene Mosley Steadman; son, Danny Oswalt; and brother, Melvin Steadman. Mrs. Oswalt is survived by her daughter, Beverly Elmore (Gary) of Boyle; sisters, Annette Higginbotham (Larry) of Norfolk, NE and Janet Hall (Rick) of Weaver, AL; grandchildren, Sandi Davis (Adam) and Mandy Lowery; and great-grandchildren, Harlee Caswell, Parker Watson, and Tate Davis. Pallbearers will be Russell Steadman, Kenneth Steadman, James Steadman, Lee Tedder and Jon Hunt. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Davis, Gary Elmore, Tate Davis, Parker Watson, and Danny Oswalt. In Memory of Mrs. Oswalt, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.
