Mary Theresa Russell

Mrs. Mary Theresa Patterson Russell, 43, of Merigold, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015, at her home. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. She was born on February 2, 1972, in Cleveland, MS to Rev. Thomas Patterson, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Haire Patterson. On February 3, 1998, she married Emmitt Ray Russell. She loved to cook, sew, and craft. She also volunteered her time often doing volunteer work for Church of Jesus in Skene. Mrs. Russell is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Thomas Patterson, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Haire Patterson. She passed away along with her husband, Emmitt Ray Russell. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Patterson, Jr. (Mildred) of Greenville, Ms; sister, Paula Ferri of Baldwin, MS; nieces and nephews, Meagan Patterson and Amber Patterson both of Greenville, MS, Christy Haley of Greenwood, MS, Allen Loftis and Blake Loftis both of Gulfport, MS, and Patrick Loftis of Baldwin; and three great-nephews.
