Michele Reed

Ms. Lucie Michele Reed, 53 of Cleveland, MS went to be the with Lord on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. A Visitation will be held at Ray Funeral Home on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. with a private family graveside following. Michele was born to Thomas and Lucie Reed on June 13, 1967 in Hinds County, MS. She received her bachelor's degree from Delta State University in social work, which she worked in for 32 years. She served as a member of the National Association of the Jr Auxiliary of Cleveland from 1994-2000. She was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church of Cleveland, MS. In this church, she was instrumental in bringing the "Catechesis of the Good Shepherd" children's curriculum. She was also very active in Helping Hands in Cleveland, MS. Michele touched the lives of so many people and never met a stranger. She loved antique shopping, "junkin", refurnishing, working in her yard, and anything outdoors. Most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren. She was at every game no matter the sport, and she always made the most out of every day. Michele was always helping others and could put a smile on anyone's face. She will be remembered by her smile, personality, and willingness to help everyone. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lucie Reed and her son, Tyler Love. Michele is survived by Clark Love and their children Turner Love (Callie Childers) of Cleveland, MS and Tucker Reed Love (Braxton Clark) of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Reed, Rowan, and Will Tyler Love, all of Cleveland, MS; brother, Tag Reed (Cathy) of Belzoni; sisters, Donna Reed Wells (Richard) of Madison, MS and Lynn Kylor of Estes Park, CO; and stepmother, Claudice Reed of Belzoni.
