Mike Fryery

Michael Anthony Fryery, 61, went home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2021 in Benoit, MS. A public visitation will take place on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 6-7 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Ray Funeral Home on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. at the North Union Cemetery in Kosciusko, MS. Mike was born on August 9, 1959 in Kilmichael, MS to Felton Leon Fryery and Laura Waudine Rigby Fryery. He was married to Ma Aurora T. Javier on June 5, 2010 in Belzoni, MS. He was a River Boat Pilot for many years and then he went on to work as an Automation and Maintenance Supervisor for 14 years. He had many hobbies such as hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, camping, and traveling. He enjoyed being in the outdoors whenever he could. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felton and Laura Fryery; and brothers, Shon Fryery, and Mark Todd Fryery. He is survived by his wife, Ma Aurora Fryery; sons, Adam Fryery and Todd Fryery; daughter, Holly Haney (Thomas); sister, Diane Fryery Komara; and grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, and Tyler Haney. He also leaves behind nieces, Taylor Komara, Nikki Javier, Yanna Javier, and Pauline Javier; and nephews, Daman Komara, Jesse Fryery, Josh Fraize, Neil Fryery, PJ Javier, and Elton Javier. Pallbearers will be, Jesse Fryery, Josh Fraize, Jonathan Vance, Tony Skellion, and Darrel Satterfield, Daman Komara, Frank Farinella, and Ryan Watson. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Baldwin and Neil Fryery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hope Lodge Cancer Society in Jackson, MS.
