Mildred Pate Warren, 80, of Cleveland passed away, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday October 12, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be 3:00 p.m Saturday October 12, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Burd officiating. Interment will follow in New Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren was born in Blaine, MS on March 29, 1933 to Lawrence Brady Pate and Alllie James Pate. She worked as an administrative assistant to director of nurses at Bolivar Medical Center for 25 years. She married Herman Earl Warren on December 26, 1951. They spent time in Anchorage, AK and Cheyenne, WY while her husband was in the Air Force. In 1980, she was elected by popular vote to be employee of the month at Bolivar Medical Center. She was a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church Joy Sunday School Class and helped with 6 up at the church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, reading and sewing.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Herman Earl Warren, Brothers, L.B. Pate, JR. and William R. Pate; parents, Lawrence Brady Lawrence Brady Pate and Allie James Pate.
Mrs. Warren is survived by her daughter, Ann Williamson (Ronnie) of Cleveland; son, Kenneth Warren (Gigi) of Nashville, TN; grandsons, Matthew Warren (Jamie) of Canton, MS, Ron Williamson (Heather) of West Ferriday,LA, and Todd Murrah (Evonne) of Nashville, TN; granddaughters, Cristi Williamson Sparks (Craig) of Clevland, MS, and Shea Love of Nashville, TN; great- grandchildren, Graves Warren, Aden Williamson, and soon to be, Jacob Sparks; sister, Lillian Andrews of Cleveland, MS, brother Kenny Pate of Cleveland, MS, sister in law, Dorothy Pate of Cleveland, MS; and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ron Williamson, Matthew Warren, Todd Murrah, nephews, Ken Pate, Jack Machell, Tommy Staggs. Honorary pallbeares will be, John Gore, Eddie Hall, Dr. Charlie Brock, and great-grandson, Aden Williamson.
