Mildred Reed

Mary Mildred Linville Boswell Reed, 95, of Cleveland passed away on September 13, 2012 at Bolivar Medical Center.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland. Celebration of life will be held at Ray Funeral Home at 4:00 on Saturday, September 15, 2012 with Rev. Clarence Edwards, Minister of Boyle Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Delta Heights Memorial Gardens.
Mildred was born on February 21, 1917, the fourth child of William and Mary Jane Davis Linville in Tippah County, Mississippi. AS a young girl, she and her parents moved to Ruleville, Mississippi. She was married to Rufus A. (Shorty) Boswell and Dewey Curtis Reed.
Mildred was an active member of Boyle Baptist Church for more than 60 years.
She retired from Baxter Laboratories after working there for 25 years.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, who will be missed by all of her family as well as her friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, brother, Howard Linville, sisters, Hermie Linville Henson, Florence Linville Reed, son, Clyde Boswell, and Grandson, Kenneth (Boz) Brewer Boswell.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Frank Boswell (Marie) of Cleveland, MS; Jimmy A. Boswell (Antoninette) of Indianola, MS; Curtis Richard Boswell (Joy) of Phoenix, AZ; daughter-in-law, Pamela Boswell, Cleveland, MS; and stepson, Dewey (Butch) Reed, Hot Springs, AR.
Grandchildren: Billy Boswell II (Patti); Cleveland, MS, Stephanie Strowd, Jackson, MS; Heather Renee Card (Marc), Oxford, MS; Alisa Melaine Melton (Tim), Durant, MS; Curtis Todd Boswell (Lisa), Phoenix, AZ; Bryan Richard Boswell, Gaithersburg, MD; Corey Lane Boswell (Abby), Chandler, AZ; Haaken Hylander Boswell, Phoenix, AZ; Melissa Ann Milbrand, Cleveland, MS; Kimberly Phillips, Cleveland, MS; and Craig Allen Boswell, (Amy) Hernado, MS;
Great-Grandchildren: William Wesley Strowd, Alexis Renee Card, Cassidy Douglass Card, Maggie Elizabeth Melton, Bascom Lake Melton, Hattie Lane Melton, Jordan Courtney Boswell, Alexia Boswell, Ryan Lane Boswell, Regan Nicolle Boswell, Lauren Elizabeth Walker, Chelsey Stiner Milbrand, Ragan Michelle Milbrand , Robert Hayden Milbrand, Raven Nichole Phillips, Bretlyn Clair Phillips, Taylor Ryan Boswell, Marle Elizabeth Boswell, and Conner Carskaden Boswell.

The Family extends its utmost gratitude to the staff of the Bolivar Medical Center Long-term Care Facility for attending to Mildred's needs for more than 5 and half years.
