Mildred Skellion

Mildred Skellion, 79, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 3:00p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015, in North Cleveland Cemetery with Rev. Phyllis Milam officiating. Mrs. Skellion was born January 27, 1936, in Cleveland, MS to Milton McGarrh and Ada Bell McGarrh. She worked for 38 years at Baxter's Laboratory as a line supervisor. She loved gardening, refinishing furniture; and most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil Mullins; second husband, Delbert Skellion; daughter, Janice Gant; parents, Milton and Ada McGarrh; and her brothers and sisters. Mrs. Skellion is survived by her children, Larry Mullins (Ruby) of Drew, MS and Becky Brock (Dr. Charles) of Cleveland; son-in-law, Ronnie Gant of Cleveland; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Milam, Chris Mullins, Ronnie Gant, Tyler Killingsworth, William Carpenter, and Glenn Pilgrim.
