Mrs. Minnie Ely "Frony" Clark, 97, of Ruleville, passed away October 7, 2016, at Indywood Estates. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home. There will be a private family graveside service. Mrs. Clark was born in Greenwood, MS, on April 1, 1919, to Samuel Jones Ely and Blanche Auterberry Ely. She graduated from Drew High School then went on to attend Delta State University. On December 18, 1937, she married Fletcher Talmadge Clark in Drew, MS. She attended Ruleville United Methodist Church and then later attended St. Luke United Methodist Church in Cleveland, MS. She spent most of her adult life in Ruleville, MS until her husband passed away then she moved to Cleveland. She was a smart woman with personality that loved golf and who always enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Jones Ely and Blanche Auterberry Ely; and husband, Fletcher Talmadge Clark. Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Fletcher Talmadge Clark, Jr. of Ruleville, MS; daughters, Jane Clark Morgan (Duke) of Shaw, MS and Christine Clark Reaves (Ward) of Scottsdale, AZ; granddaughters, Melissa Morgan Williams (Ben), Elizabeth Morgan Vickery (Edwin); grandsons, Howard Talmadge Clark (Janie), John Beall Clark (Cindy), Duke Higdon Morgan, Jr. (Dudley), Brentley Clark Roberts, and Bradley Orr Roberts (Trinity); and fourteen beloved great grandchildren.
