Myla Travis

MRs. Myla Ruth Travis, 91, of Rosedale, MS, passed away at Bolivar Medical Center, Saturday, July 23, 2011. Visitation will be Monday, July 25, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.. Celebration of life service will be at 3:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home, Monday, July 25, 2011. Burial will follow services in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Travis was born February 15, 1920 to Charley Davis and Martha Jane Roberts in Epley, MS. She married Littleton Ned Travis, Sr. February 16, 1935 in Rosedale, MS. She loved cooking, gardening, and her family. She was a wonderful mother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Ned Travis, Jr. and grandson, Robin Travis.
Mrs. Travis is survived by her children, Paty Sue Huff of Holly Bluff, MS, Patricia Junkin (Gerald) of Cleveland, MS, Buddy Travis (Brenda) of Boydton, VA, Tee Travis (Laurel) of Rosedale, MS, Joe Travis of Meadville, MS, Ray Travis (Betty) of Rosedale, MS, Ruthie Sellers (Willie) of Shaw, MS; nineteen grandchildren; forty- three great-grandchildren; and one great, great- grandchild; daughter-in-law, Nelda.
Pallbearers will be Todd Travis, Jimmy Hudson, Billy Ruecker, Chuck Travis, Chad Travis, Adam Boren Patrick Hudson, Timothy Hudson, and David Hudson.
