Patricia Montesi

Patricia K. Montesi, 63, of Boyle, died Friday, January 20, 2012, at Bolivar Medical Center.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church with Father Kent Bowlds officiating. The Interment will be in North Cleveland Cemetery, under the direction of Ray Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2012, with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home.
Mrs. Montesi was born on March 7, 1948, to Albert and Mary Karls. She married Robert Montesi in Greenville, MS, on March 15, 1973. She graduated from Delta State University and taught English at Cleveland High School and East High School for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories Church. She deeply loved her family, especially her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Karls, and her sister Deborah Lee Karls.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Robert Montesi, Sr. of Boyle; her son, Robert Montesi, Jr. of Boyle; her daughter, Gina Britt and son-in-law, Eddie Britt of Byram; granddaughters, Mary Taylor Montesi of Boyle and Emory Lee Britt of Byram; and her sisters, Kathleen Wuthrich of Warsaw, Indiana, and Suzanne Brackett of Canton, Georgia.
Pallbearers are Chris Hays, Jeremy Jackson, David Laster, Ben McIntrye, Bob Waller, and Terry Wooley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.
