Paul L. Sizemore, 80, of Pace died May 2, 2010 at his home in Cleveland.
Mr. Sizemore was born on June 16, 1929 to Jim and Edna Sizemore on the Bogue in Pace, MS. He attended school in Pace a few years and then moved to Drew, MS. In 1947, he joined the Navy and served on Guam. When the Drew National Guard was called to active duty in 1950 for the Korean Conflict, he went with them. He married Margie Nell Moses in 1951. His son, Dennis was born in 1953. After his tour in France, he attended Delta State and graduated in 1955 with a major in Business Education. He
taught in Rolling Fork, MS. Paul received his MS in Education from Ole Miss in 1959. The big move to the West was in 1960. He taught in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He taught high school Business, 6th grade in Cheyenne, Wyoming and was in the State Department of Education. He was Assistant Principal of the High School in New Mexico. His love of teaching was with his sixth graders in Cheyenne. He retired in 1985. He loved the outdoors and hunting and fishing all over Wyoming. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He came home to Mississippi in 1999.
Survivors include his son, Dennis Sizemore; his daughter-in-law, Trent Sizemore; and his grandson, Paul Michael Sizemore, all of Salt Lake City, Utah.
