Perry Ellis "Chip" Morgan, II, 51, passed away at his residence in Olive Branch, MS, on Saturday, November 7, 2020. A visitation will be held 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2020 at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. A Celebration of Life Memorial will follow.
Perry was a graduate of Delta State University where he earned a Bachelor's degree. He was a native of Cleveland, MS and has one daughter and one son. Mr. Morgan has been a resident of the Desoto county area most of his adult life.
Perry was the Director of Operations/Supply Chain for Gaatu Auto and Furniture Distribution. He loved to play golf with a group every Sunday, and Perry was in the process of restoring a 1978 truck that he has owned since a teenager. He loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and he enjoyed playing one of his many guitars and listening to his extensive music collection.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his loving wife, Karen Morgan of Olive Branch; son, Perry (Kelsey) Morgan, III of Jackson, MS his daughter, Abbey (Hunter Neyman) Morgan of Senatobia, MS; step-son, Taylor Meyers of Southaven, MS, and Morgan Myers of Olive Branch, MS; father, Perry E. Morgan of Drew, MS; sister, Denise Morgan(Michael) Arnold of Cleveland, MS; two nieces, one nephew, three great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Perry was preceded in passing by his mother, Kathryn "Kat" Morgan.
In lieu of traditional flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org., and St. Jude Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
