Pressley Wooten

Pressley Eugene Wooten, 69, passed away August 24, 2013, in Crossville, TN. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lehrton Cemetery.
Pressley was born July 1, 1944, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Wooten of Ruleville, Ms. He attended Ruleville Public School and graduated high school from Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy, Seymour, TN in 1963. He served in the United States Navy with the 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea during the 1967 Six Day War. Pressley enjoyed fishing, camping and gatherings with family and friends. He loved the old ways.
Pressley was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Young Wooten and father and mother, James and Ethelyne Wooten.
He is survived by his son, Rodger A. Wooten and grandson, Spencer Clark Wooten of Crossville, TN; and brother, James A. Wooten Jr. of Mt. Juliet, TN.
