Rece Beach

Mr. Rece Dero Beach, 80, of Drew, MS, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, TN. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held 12:30-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Drew Baptist Church. Celebration of life services will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Drew Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Bley officiating. Interment will be in Drew City Cemetery.
Mr. Beach was born in Drew, MS, on November 18, 1931, to Joseph Lattie Beach and Vera Dodd Beach. He proudly served our country in the Army. On May 6, 1955, he married Gleniece Campbell at Sunflower Plantation. He loved working on cars and was a mechanic for over 51 years.
He is survived by his wife, Gleniece Campbell of Drew, MS; daughter, Sue Beach Lienard (Richard) of Drew, MS; sons, Sidney R. Beach (Kelly) of Collierville, TN and Wesley Beach (Melissa) of Newnan, GA; grandchildren, John Lienard of Cleveland, MS, Allison Lienard of Gore Springs, MS, Kevin Lienard of Cleveland, MS, Sean Beach of Collierville, TN, Laney Beach of Collierville, TN, Whitney Beach of Collierville,TN, and Carson Beach of Newnan, GA; and siblings, Mavis Stribling of Pascagoula, MS, Olan Beach (Carolyn) of Senoia, GA, Wayne Beach (Jeanette) of Wilmington, DE, Anniebell Foster (Simon) of Newark, NJ, Betty DuBois of Cleveland, MS, Donald Beach (Cathy) of Olive Branch, MS, and Ed Beach (Rosann) of Tunica, MS.
Pallbearers will be John Lienard, Kevin Lienard, Greg Beach, Scot Beach, Donald Wayne Beach, Brad Beach, Duff Woodward, Mark Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Glen Woodward, Todd Campbell, Mitch Campbell, Allen Roberts, Donald Lee Stribling, Billy Dempsey, Jr., the members of Drew Baptist Men's Sunday School Class, Larry Bradshaw, Billy Cummins, Chester McNeer, J.W. Roy, Leroy Stringfellow, Ralph Williamson and Clarence Winfrey.
In honor of Mr. Beach, memorials can be made to Drew Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
