Reggie Ralph Tidmore, 84, of Drew went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
Ralph was born October 10, 1936 to Archie Clyde and Glen Patridge Tidmore in Leflore County, MS. At a young age he moved to Drew, MS and attended Drew High School. While attending DHS, he drove the bus route for the Sunflower Plantation area, as well as driving the football team, basketball teams and the band on various trips.
He was a veteran of the Mississippi National Guard.
Starting as a small child, he worked on the family farm and continued in the farming industry for over 50 years. Ralph served the City of Drew as a volunteer firefighter for over 40 years and as the Alderman for Ward 2 for 16 years. Reggie was a devoted member of Drew United Methodist Church. He served on the Board of Trustees, the Church Council, and as a Sunday School Superintendent.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Glen "Tince" Tidmore; wife, Nancy Tidmore, and sister, Shirley Tidmore Beach. Reggie is survived by his children, Patti and Reggie Tidmore of Drew, MS; sisters, Corinne Hunt (Sam), Barbara Stanford, Bettie Dickey (Charles), and Catherie Stewart (Robert), and brother, A.C. Tidmore, Jr. (Louise); sixteen nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.
