Richard “Dick” Bolling Jr, age 98, of Cleveland, MS, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 12, 2022. A celebration of life service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Calvary Episcopal Church in Cleveland, MS. Interment will be held at New Cleveland Cemetery.
Richard was born on May 11, 1924 to his parents, Dr. Richard A. Bolling, Jr. and Margurite Chapman Bolling. At the age of two, Richard, and his family, moved from Indianola to Cleveland where he grew up and attended and graduated from Cleveland High School. He went on to attend Southwestern College in Memphis. After college, Richard joined the Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII. After being honorably discharged, he attended New York School of Design. After receiving a degree in interior design, he moved to Memphis where he worked for many years at Goldsmiths and Bradford Showroom. In Dick’s spare time, he loved to travel the world and did so into his 90s. He had a love for music, arts, and theater. Dick always found the beauty that all the world had to offer.
He is predeceased in passing by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Richard A. Bolling, sister, Margurite Bolling Law, and nephew, Steven Law.
Dick is survived by his niece, Laura Paxton Law and a host of many loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Calvary Episcopal Church and First Presbyterian Church in memory of Richard Bolling.
