Richard Knight Rhodes, Sr., 64, of Gunnison, MS, died Friday, April 27, 2018.
Richard was born on January 19, 1954, in Greenville, MS, to Elmo Currye Rhodes and Mary Rizzo Rhodes. Richard worked in manufacturing for many years as Purchasing Manager. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his wife and son. Richard graduated from Washington School in Greenville and later attended Mississippi State University and Delta State University.
Richard is survived by his wife, Connie Nokes Rhodes of 43 years; son, Richard Knight Rhodes, Jr. (Searcy); one grandchild, Lexie Scott Hollis; and one sister, Ramona Rhodes Sanders (Frank).
Richard has donated his body to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) Body Donation Program for anatomical study, research and the advancement of medical sciences.
The family requests memorials be made to the charity of their choice.
