Robert Guest

Robert Hugh "Skeet" Guest, 67, of Drew, MS , passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his home in Drew. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. There will be a second visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Drew Baptist Church in Drew, MS. Celebration of Life will be Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Drew Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Bley officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Drew Cemetery .
Skeet was born September 25, 1944 to Homer Lee Guest and Mavis Hillhouse Guest. He married Ella Hubbard Guest on February 7, 1965, in Woodland, Ms. Skeet worked at T.J. Beall Co., formerly National Compress, for 43 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His children and grandchildren were his life.
Skeet was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Lee and Mavis Hillhouse Guest and sister, Sara McClure.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Guest of Drew; daughters, Wanda Guest Cummins (Tad) of Drew, MS and Sheila Guest Lindsey (Greg) of Florence, MS; grandaughter, Anna Katherine Lindsey; grandsons, Clay Cummins, Nathan Cummins, and John Michael Lindsey; brother, Bobby Guest (Sheila) of Boyle, MS; and sister Labon Cotten of Jackson, Ms.
Pallbearers will be Clay Cummins, Nathan Cummins, Jonathan Cummins, Joe Cotten, Clint Carpenter, and Joseph Atkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Jerry L. Hubbard Jr., Jerry Hubbard, Charles Hill, and Hollis Lewis.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Drew Baptist Church.
