Roselyn Strong Moody, 74, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland. Visitation will be held at Ray Funeral Home Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 5:00- 7:00 p.m.. Burial will follow the funeral service in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Moody was born May 8, 1936 to Liston James Strong and Juanita Fuller in Copiah County. She married Henry Allen Moody, March 22, 1969 in Cleveland, MS. Mrs. Moody was a member of the Cleveland Women’s Garden Club. She loved playing games every Thursday at her church. Mrs. Moody was very active in family activities. She was always involved in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren‘s lives, as well as Delta State functions, traveling, ballroom dancing, and farming with her grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Liston James Strong and Juanita Fuller; and her husband, Henry Allen Moody.
Mrs. Moody is survived by her daughters, Tresa Powell Kitchings (Jerry) of Cleveland, MS, Terri Powell Smith (Kevin) of Johnson City, TN, and Kim Moody Reed (Scott) of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Jeffrey Fioranelli (Tricia), Joseph Fioranelli, Philip Fioranelli, Allen Smith, Jordan Smith, Austin Smith, Jason Reed, Morgan Scott Reed, Denton Reed, and Hank Reed; three great-granddaughters, Ella Rose Fioranelli, Mary Michael Fioranelli, and Caroline Fioranelli; and close companion, Robert E. Smith.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Fioranelli, Joseph Fioranelli, Philip Fioranelli, Austin Smith, Allen Smith, Jason Reed, Dudley Tribble, Jeff Clemons.
