Ruby Lee Hardin Goss 97, of Cleveland MS was called home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2024. A visitation honoring Mrs. Ruby will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 11-12 with a Graveside at 12pm in the North Cleveland Cemetery.
Ruby was born on April 11, 1927, in French Camp, MS to her parents, Willie Lee & Cleo (Knight) Hardin. On October 2, 1943, Ruby exchanged vows with her beloved husband, Loy Benjamin Goss Sr., at the First Baptist Church in Pascagoula, MS. Together, they embarked on a journey of love, commitment, and shared dreams. Ruby's green thumb and passion for gardening and flowers were evident to all who knew her, as she poured her heart into nurturing and caring for her plants. She found solace in canning, preserving memories and flavors for generations to come.
Above all, Ruby held dear the time spent with her cherished family and furry companions, finding joy in the simple moments shared together. Her life was a testament to the beauty found in love, laughter, and the bonds that hold us close.
Ruby is preceded in passing by her parents, Willie & Cleo Hardin, beloved husband, Loy Benjamin Goss Sr., her son, Loy Goss Jr., five sisters & two brothers, two grandsons, one granddaughter, two daughter in laws.
Ruby is survived by her three sons, William Goss of Greenwood, MS., Alvie (Ann) Goss of Blaine, MS., Noel (Georgia) Goss of Vancleave, MS, two sisters, Edna (Don)Johnston of Union, MS., Pearl Patridge of Stewart, MS, one brother Charlie (Wanda) Hardin of Stewart, MS., Many grandchildren & great grandchildren.
