Ruby Jennings

Mrs. Ruby Palmer Jennings, 78, of Benoit, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Liberty Health and Rehab in Indianola. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2014, in Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville with Bro. Mark Worsham officiating.
Mrs. Jennings was born May 23, 1936, in Litton, MS to Henry Palmer and Emma Palmer. On December 11, 1965, she married Bobby Ray Jennings. She worked at Greenville Mills for ten years. Mrs. Jennings was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Benoit, MS and she loved her pets, flowers, and her granddaughter, Harley. She enjoyed staying in her yard.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jennings; son, Steven Jennings; parents, Henry and Emma Palmer; brothers, M.A. Palmer, Clifton Palmer and John D. Palmer; and sisters, Mary Clifton and Vera Barlow.
Mrs. Jennings is survived by her daughter, Amanda Jennings of Benoit; granddaughter, Harley Jennings of Benoit; brother, Frank Palmer; and sisters, Claudie Clifton and Kate Filer.
