Russ Miller

William Russell "Russ" Miller III, 44, of Cleveland, MS went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2021. A Mass memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. Masks are required to attend. Russ was born on February 3, 1976 in Cleveland, MS to William Russell Miller, Jr and Beverley Kittrell Miller. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1994 and graduated from Southern Miss with a bachelor's degree in biology. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega at University of Southern Mississippi. He loved spending time with his children, family, and many friends. He had a love for history and music, and enjoyed attending concerts. He also had a love for knowledge and never forgot a fact. In his spare time, he also enjoyed traveling. He is preceded in passing by his grandparents, Russell and Dot Miller, and Ira and Pauline Kittrell. He is survived by his parents, William Russell Miller, Jr and Beverley Kittrell Miller of Cleveland, MS; children, William Russell Miller IV and Olivia Elizabeth Miller of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Christy Wood (Micah) of Southaven, MS; niece, Mary Micayla Wood of Southaven, MS; nephew, Noah Wood of Southaven, MS; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Dream Center NYC (nonprofit organization that serves the underprivileged in New York City, which is where his niece is currently serving).
