Ruth Doyle Warren

Ruth Doyle Warren, a beloved homemaker went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2025, in Ruleville, Mississippi, at the age of 90. A Visitation to honor her life will be held on January 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ray Funeral Home, in Cleveland, MS. Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held at Linn Methodist Cemetery. 

Ruth was born on May 17, 1934, in Shaw, Mississippi, to Walter Ladell and Willie Doyle. She married George Robert Warren November 11, 1949, in Boyle, MS. 

Throughout her life, Ruth exemplified the qualities of love and dedication. She was a devoted wife to her husband, George Robert Warren, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage. Together, they built a life steeped in family values and nurtured a home filled with warmth and affection. Ruth’s pride and joy were her children, Sandra Davidson, Robert “Rabbit” Warren and her late children, Judy Faye Jennings, Debbie Diane Millum, Jerrye Thomas, and son, Arthur Warren. Known for her nurturing spirit, she dedicated herself to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, joyfully helping them through their lives and fostering a close-knit family environment.

Ruth enjoyed a peaceful life rooted in simplicity and beauty. A graduate of Boyle School, she had a deep passion for reading, cooking, flowers, and gardening, which brought her immense joy and satisfaction. Her love for the natural world often mirrored her nurturing qualities as she cultivated her garden and felt great pride in the life that flourished around her.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sandra Davidson, and son, Robert "Rabbit" Warren, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She now joins her beloved husband, George, and her deceased family members, including her parents, Walter Dedell and Willie Etole Doyle; her brothers, Hickeman Ladell Doyle and William Lenard Doyle; sister, Mae Massey; and her son, Arthur Stace Warren; along with her daughters, Jerrye Thomas, Debbie Mullum, and Judy Jennings. 

Ruth Doyle Warren's legacy of love and commitment to her family will endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be missed dearly, always remembered for the warmth she brought into the lives of others.
