The family of Shelby Jean McKnight Clem, of Cleveland, MS is saddened to announce her peaceful passing on April 10th, 2024, while surrounded by her family.
Shelby was born on October 25, 1943, in Cleveland Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents, T.A. "Alfie" McKnight and Wilma Inez Carver McKnight, Sister, Janice Poe. Shelby was married to Blue Clem for 39 years until his untimely passing in 2002. Shelby is survived by her 3 loving children, Stan (Robin) Clem of Strayhorn, Ms, Mandy (Kelly) Thomas of Overland Park, KS, and Tyson (Michelle) Clem of Boyle, MS. Shelby is Meme to 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister, Pat (Jeff) Brooks of Southaven, MS.
Shelby was the proud owner of The Second Edition for 25 years where she had a huge impact on the lives of her customers, friends, and family. She had a love for music (especially Joe Garcia and the Big Guns) and Shelby loved spending time with her friends, who will always remember her fun-loving, vivacious spirit.
A visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Ray Funeral Home from 1-2 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow. A graveside will proceed in the Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery. |
