Mrs. Shirley Faye Russell Akridge, 60, of Cleveland,MS, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Greenville, MS. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2103 in Adams Arbor Cemetery.
Mrs. Akridge was born on August 12, 1952 to Emmitt Russell and Shirley Irene Arbuckle. She married Kenneth Akridge Sr. She was the homemaker of the family. She was a long time member of the Pace Pentecostal Church. She loved to listen to gospel music and go play bingo.
She is preceded in death by her, husband, Kenneth Akridge Sr.; and a sister, Lill Hopkins.
She is survived by her parents, Emmitt and Shirley Russell; son, Kenneth Akridge; sisters, Salley Ann Williams (Mike), and Dorothy Russell Warren (Robert "Rabbit"); brother, Emmitt Ray Russell (Teresa); and a host of nieces and nephews.
