Steve Steele

Steven Gary Steele, 75 of Cleveland, MS was called home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2023.
A visitation honoring Steve will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 12-1pm at Ray Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00PM.
Steve was born on January 22, 1948 in Memphis, TN to his parents, Donald Day “Blue” and Juawice Gary Steele. At a young age his family moved to Cleveland, MS where he graduated from Cleveland High School. While in high school, Steve was named Chrisitan athlete of the year, and  Mr. CHS and “Boy of the Year” by the Exchange Club in 1967.
He worked at Shelby Die Casting and Bolivar Medical Center. He was an avid hunter and loved going hunting with his friend, Willie Baines. He also cherished visiting with his life long friend Kip Tyler. He loved being with his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Steve is preceded by his parents, Donald Day “Blue” Steele & Juawice Gary Steele, his sister, Donna Pipkin.
Steven is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cindy Steele of Cleveland, MS., daughters Dee Bills (Gregg), Stephanie Jenkins (Jonathan), and son Bryant (Nickie Moore) Steele all of Cleveland, MS., six grandchildren, Dalton (Annsley), Daylen (Chandler), Bailey, Carlee, Amelia, Jackson, three great grandchildren, siblings, Tom Steele (Terry) of Cleveland, MS., Gloria Cocilova (Richard) of Virginia, Brother-in-law Frank Pipkin of Arkansas, and Sister-in-law Crystal Vint (Bill) of Arkansas.
