Terra Platt

Terra Lynette Platt 45, of Cleveland, MS was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 8, 2024. A visitation honoring Mrs. Terra will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 11-12 at Ray Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 12 at Ray Funeral Home. A Graveside service will proceed in the North Cleveland Cemetery.

Terra was born on December 12, 1978, to her parents, Wade Lee McBride Jr. & Sharon Rhnee Wright in Greenville, MS yet at a young age she and her family moved to Albertville, Alabama where she grew up, attended, and graduated from Albertville High School. Terra went on to complete two years at Snead Community College. Terra worked through her college career. Terra just loved people and was just a people person. Terra never met a stranger. Her gifts opened doors for her such as, being apart of the opening of the first Dennys in Greenville, MS. In 2013 Terra married her best friend Zac Platt. They have been blessed with three children, the greatest treasures in Terra’s life, her daughter, Mary Claire Platt, and her sons, Cooper Alexander & Jax Lee Platt. Terra was a light everywhere she went. From the moment she walked in the room, she would light it up with love and laughter. Terra most of all was a true loving servant to all that knew her. Terra was the best wife, mom, sister, and friend that anyone would be blessed to know. The world as we know it is a better place because of Terra Platt.

She is preceded in passing by her mother, Sharon Rhnee Wright: father, Wade Lee McBride, and grandparents. 

Terra is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Zac Platt of Cleveland, MS. Their three beautiful children, Mary Claire Platt, Jax Lee Platt, and Cooper Alexander Platt, her sisters, Ashly (Vince) Wise of Cleveland, MS., Lacy (Stuart) Ruggeri of Leland, MS., Katie (Frankie) Page of Madison, MS., and Mimi Woods of Cleveland, MS, one brother Matthew Frith of Fort Worth, TX, her loving nieces and nephews, Wade, Hunter, Madison, and Ryker
