Mr. Terrell Dalmas "Billy Bob" Morgan, 82, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July, 2, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home with Pastor Huber officiating. Interment will follow in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan was born on September 12, 1931, to Fred Levi Morgan and Bernice Powell. On June 7, 1963, he married Margaret Alice Adams in Schlater. He proudly served our country during the Korean War. He was a painter and worked for 60 years. He was a member of the VFW, Cleveland Auto Club, and Benoit Outing Club. He was an avid fisherman, loved going to car races, visiting with friends, playing dominoes, loved being outdoors; and being around his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was one of the boxing coaches for Cleveland Athletic Club and was a big influence to many children.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Morgan of Cleveland, MS; children, Freddy Morgan (Lee) of Maryville, TN Derinda Seger (Randy) of Parchman, MS, and Monica Smith Edwards (Brian) of Indianola, MS; sister, Carolyn Restor (Mike) of Baileyton, AL; grandchildren, Blake Ray, Morgan Hudson, Kerrie Hudson, Alyson Hudson, Lane Herron, Lora Clement (Jeremy) of Charleston, MS, Amanda Hill (Bryan) of Chalreston, MS, Samantha Seger of Charleston, MS, and Joshua Seger of Grenada, MS; 4 great-grandchildren, Rayden Glass, Karlee Brooke Bradley, Cameron Herron, Danica Herron, Jacob Seger, and Ryan Hill.
Pallbearers will be Larry Powell, Clinton Powell, Billy Fly, Randy Seger, Greg Taylor, and Jeremy Bradley. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Ray, Edward Taylor, and the VFW Members.
