Thelma Henry Dungan

Thelma Dungan, 92, of Memphis, TN, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015, at her home. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on May 17, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, in Merigold Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Turner officiating. Interment will be in Merigold Cemetery. Mrs. Dungan was born July 14, 1922, in Arkansas to Pearl V. and Annie Mullen Henry. She married William Dungan on May 16, 1905, in Cleveland, MS.
She was preceded by her husband, William Dungan; parents, Pearl V. Henry and Annie Mullen Henry; brother, Bryan Henry. She is survived by daughter, Mitzie Nelson of Memphis, TN; sons: Marcus Nelson of Memphis, TN, and Micheal Lamar Nelson of Rockledge, FL; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Doris Reves.
