Thelma Dona Williams Thomas, 100, of Barlow, KY, formerly of Rosedale, MS, passed away December 28, 2011 in Paducah, KY. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of life service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Nolan Headley officiating. Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was born April 12, 1911 in Hardin County, TN. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed her life of living in Rosedale for 50 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Calvin Thomas; sons, Calvin Thomas and James Thomas; her parents; 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughter, Frances Mosley of Barlow, KY; grandchildren, Stanley Johnson of Barlow, KY and Thomas Gilbreath of Maben, MS; great-grandchildren, April Nixon of New Orleans, LA, Crystal Bevelo of Clearwater, FL, Kattie Johnson of Barlow, KY, and Hunter Gilbreath of Maben, MS; great-great-grandchildren, Andrew Nixon, Madlyn Nixon and Emma Nixon; and a brother, William Taylor of Orange, TX.
