You could catch Tommy every weekend loading his daughters up and taking them to ride their horses. Tommy was also an actor in the 1996 movie “The Chamber” the story goes, Tommy didn’t actually want to be in the movie but when he found out his wife was going to try out Tommy tagged along. When Mr. & Mrs. Schubert got to the set the director said he actually wanted Tommy because, he just had that old southern look. It would go on to be one of his greatest highlights in his life. Tommy also loved to serve with his wife at their home church Drew First Baptist. They would cook and serve food on Wednesday night. When I was a baby you would hold me in your arms
I felt the love and tenderness keeping me safe from harm
I would look up into your eyes and all the love I would see
How did I get so lucky you were the dad chosen for me
There is something special about a father’s love
Seems it was sent to me from someplace up above
Our love is everlasting I just wanted you to know
That you’re my special hero.
An even tho your song has ended
your melody will forever linger on.
