Troy Chester Warhurst, Jr.

Mr. Troy Chester Warhurst, Sr., 72, of Rosedale, MS, passed away on January 10, 2018, at Merit Health in Flowood, MS.
Troy was born on January 7, 1946, to Virgel Warhurst and Adell Lawson Warhurst in Forrest City, AR. On November 11, 2004, he married his beloved wife, Anita Gilbert in Cleveland, MS. Troy enjoyed going out to eat, going on walks, reading a good book in his front porch swing, and watching Western films. Troy loved football especially his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints. Most importantly, his favorite pastime was being with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgel Warhurst and Adell Lawson Warhurst; and siblings, Johnny Ray Warhurst, Ruthie Mae Chicaci, Alfred Warhurst, Patricia Warhurst, and Roy Warhurst.
Troy is survived by his wife, Anita Warhurst of Rosedale, MS; son, Troy Warhurst, Jr. (Jeanna) of Lenoir, NC; daughters, Cyndi Cannon (Dwayne) of Baton, NC and Dodie Clark (Joe) of Hickory, NC; step-child, Jimmy "Champ" Gilbert (Cassie Prado) of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Christopher Warhurst, Matthew Warhurst, Chancie Cannon,  Alexis Cannon, Joey Clark, Cloey Gilbert, Carson Gilbert, and Cambrie Gilbert; sister, Opal Rudd (Jerry) of Wonder Lake, IL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
