Born on October 3, 1924, in the Mississippi Delta to Joseph and Adela Muzzi, Vince grew up with a deep love for the land and the strong values of, faith, family, and hard work. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Force during World War II.
On September 21, 1946, Vince married the love of his life, Mildred Muzzi, in Atlanta, Georgia, and together they built a beautiful life centered around their family and farming. An avid outdoorsman, Vince found great joy in hunting and fishing, especially when accompanied by his brother, sons, and grandchildren. Whether at the deer camp or on the lake reeling in crappie, he cherished every moment spent with family. Also every afternoon he loved riding around on the golf cart with his granddaughter & great granddaughter. He was also a beloved member of his morning coffee club where he enjoyed fellowship and friendship.
Vince was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, his parents, as well as his three brothers and two sisters. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory: his sons, Vince Muzzi, Jr. of Bon Secour, Alabama; Tim Muzzi (Janice) of Starkville; and Danny Muzzi (Tootsie) of Shaw; grandchildren, Stephen Muzzi (Heather), Dawn Muzzi ( Derek ) Philip Muzzi (Cindy), Dereke Muzzi (Anna), and Mark Muzzi (Tavia); and great-grandchildren, Seth Muzzi, (Jade), Makayla Muzzi, Nate Muzzi, Asher Muzzi, Eliza Muzzi, Brooklyn Muzzi, Ella Muzzi, and Hudson Muzzi; great-great-grandchild, Jase Muzzi, and another expected this summer Kadence Givens.
Vince lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community. His legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Vince’s memory to a charity of your choice.
