Walter Lee

Mr. Walter McDonald Lee, 72, of O'Reilly, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015, at his home. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Pearcy Beach officiating. Interment will follow in Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was born May 6, 1942, in Boyle, MS to Robert Edward Lee, Sr. and Jessie Adelle Horton Lee. On July 20, 1968, he married Shelia Jeanette Skellion in Cleveland, MS. Throughout his life, he worked at Misceramic Tile Co. and retired from Baxter Laboratories. He truly loved animals and after his retirement he worked as a small animal groomer for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Jeanette Lee; son, Walter McDonald Lee, Jr.; sisters, Evelyn Maurice Lee Braswell Haynie and Robbie Vivian Lee Williams; parents, Robert E. Lee, Sr. and Jessie Adelle Horton Lee; and grandparents, Stephen Henry Lee, Nora C. Della Mussell White Lee, Jesse Will Horton, and Mary Etta Williams Horton.
Mr. Lee is survived by his daughter, Denise Adelle Lee Evans Bower of O'Reilly, MS; sister, Ruth Adell Lee Campbell of Cleveland; and brother, Robert Edward Lee, Jr. of Cleveland.
