Walter Weeks

Mr. Walter Howard Weeks, 84, of Cleveland , MS , passed away at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson , MS , Monday, March 26, 2012 . Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 10 A.M. Celebration of life service will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11 A.M. with Bro. Robert Haney officiating. Interment will follow celebration of life service in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Weeks was born April 23, 19 27 to R.T. Weeks and Gracie Blackwell Weeks in Bolivar County. He married Lucille Marie Cotton. Mr. Weeks owned his own appliance repair, worked in law enforcement, and was a mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents, R.T. Weeks and Gracie Blackwell Weeks.
Mr. Weeks is survived by his wife, Lucille Cotton Weeks of Boyle, MS; children, Doris Weeks Wolfe (Gary) of Lafayette, LA, Wilma Weeks Strait (James) of Cleveland, MS, Linda Weeks Ivey (Tom) of Texas, Horace Howard Weeks (Debbie) of Drew, MS; grandchildren, Richard Kimbell (Christy), Mark Kimbell (Misha), Tom Wolfe (Amy), Connie Perdue, Tracy Price, Michael Larson, Marion Weeks Abide (Andy), Grant Weeks, Heather Kimbell Williams (Jeremy);a host of great-grandchildren; five brothers; and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Grant Weeks, Jeremy Williams, Thom Wolfe, David Weeks, Barney Weeks and Charles Gorman.
