Wendell Wayne Morris

Mr. Wendell Wayne Morris, 56, of Drew, MS, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at his home. Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Van Lott officiating. Interment will be in Lehrton Cemetery.
Wendell was born in Cleveland on August 10, 1961, to Joe Wayne Morris and Geneva Morris. On November 21, 2008, he married Kim Kendrick in Helena, Arkansas. Wendell enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and dogs.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Crocker Morris.
Wendell is survived by his wife, Kim Morris of Drew; daughters, Crystal Cox (Lake) of Merigold, Cody Field (Josh) of Cleveland, Stephanie Cosue (Lamberto) of Cleveland, and Doll Franklin (Neil) of Brandon; father, Joe Wayne Morris (Cora) of Drew; sisters, Lavada Cockerham of Casilla and Cindy Horton (Bo) of Ruleville; brothers, Ricky Morris of Drew, Joel Morris (Donna) of Drew, Joe Morris, Jr. (Glenda) of Drew, and Danny Herring (Fran) of Ruleville; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Mitchell, Bill Morris, Chuck Morris, Jeremy Morris, Timothy Morris, Chris Morris, Josh Field, and Jonathan Morris.
