Willard Gray "Rick/Blue" Grantham, Jr., passed away at sunset on January 15, 2014, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, MS.
Willard was born at sunrise on November 11, 1950, to the late Willard Gray Grantham, Sr. and Mary Ethel Quinton Grantham in Crenshaw, MS. He proudly served our country in the Army during the Vietnam War, and was a farmer for over 25 years. He enjoyed sitting outside, feeding the birds, reading, and watching westerns.
Rick is preceded in death by his father, Willard Gray Grantham, Sr.; mother, Mary Grantham; his two sons, Willard Gray Grantham III and Chad Lee Grantham; his Aunt Leavy; and his Uncle Jake.
Rick leaves to cherish his memories, his three daughters, Machelle Raper (Clay) of Saltillo, Mary Grantham of Shelby, and Tabitha Grantham of Crystal Springs; his three brothers, Jimmy "Mickey" Grantham, Willie Grantham, and Johnny Grantham all of Merigold; sister, Connie Smith (Terry) of Senatobia; twelve grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; aunts, Bert and Faye; a very special friend, Dorothy Horton of Ruleville; and a great number of cousins and friends.
