Mr. William Curtis Langston, 65, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at his home. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. John Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Langston was born August 22, 1948, to Robert Calvin Langston and Addie Ransom Langston. Growing up, he attended Calvary Baptist Church. On December 24, 1969, he married Elizabeth Hays in Cleveland, MS. He was a member of the Cleveland Moose Lodge where he received the highest degree of the Lodge of Pilgrim. He loved fishing and wood working, and most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Calvin Langston and Addie Ransom Langston; brother, Robert Langston; sisters, Recie Reynolds and Barbara Fleming; and granddaughter, Kailen Leigh Langston.
Mr. Langston is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Langston of Cleveland; son, Jeff Langston (Cynthia) of Southaven; daughters, Michele Van Daley (Charlie) of Cleveland and Traci Hudson (Michael) of Southaven; sisters, Marion Weaver (Bill) of Cleveland and Carol Runnels of Cleveland; and 5 grandchildren, Brent Langston of Southaven, Mary Elizabeth Van Daley of Cleveland, Curtis Van Daley of Cleveland, Jacob Hudson of Cleveland, and Kameron Hudson of Southaven.
Pallbearers will be Brent Langston, Jacob Hudson, Shane Hays, Wayne Hays, Chris Hays, Calvin Fleming, and Jim Fleming.
In Memory of Mr. Langston, donations may be made to Mooseheart Child Center.
