Mr. William Parker Tribble, 80, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Bolivar Medical Center Long Term Care. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home.
Mr. Tribble was born on October 3, 1937, in Bolivar County, Mississippi, to Clifton P. Tribble and Nora Evans Tribble. In his early years, he enjoying making and drafting house plans. This love continued throughout his life through all the handy work he was known for. His skills even coined him the nickname MacGyver. He had a true passion for Karate and was a fifth degree black belt who owned and operated his own business as one of the best instructors around. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing with his dear friend, Doc Hardy. At one time, William held the record for catching the largest rainbow trout in the state of Mississippi.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Irene Tribble; parents, Clifton P. Tribble and Nora Evans Tribble; sister, Betty T. Jones; and love of his life, Ramona Allen.
Mr. Tribble is survived by his sister, Brenda Anders (James Malcolm "Mac") of Summit, MS; nieces, Renee Scallion (Johnny) of Grenada, Kim Rush (Joseph) of Summit, and Kellie Donahue (Brad) of Madison; nephews, Ricky Jones of Grenada and Terry Jones of Grenada; brother-in-law, Charles Jones of Grenada; and ex-wife, Mary Ann Tribble of Cleveland.
In memory of Mr. Tribble, donations may be made to the Bolivar County Animal Shelter.
