Mrs. Lynette Satchfield Tindle, 76, of Cleveland went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 2, 2020. There will be a visitation on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home with A Celebration of Life immediately following at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at New Cleveland Cemetery. The family request everyone please wear a mask. Lynette was born March 4, 1944 to James and Dorothy Satchfield in Cleveland, MS. She graduated from Cleveland High School and continued her education at Delta State University earning a bachelor’s degree in education. She taught at Parks Elementary School in Cleveland, MS for 28 ½ years. Not only did she teach at school during this time, but she was a Sunday school teacher and vacation Bible School teacher. Lynette was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland. She enjoyed coaching her children in softball and baseball. When she was not teaching you could find her outside working in her garden with her husband and children. They also enjoyed many adventures such as camping and canoeing. Her greatest joy in life was following her grandchildren and watching them play sports over the years and spending every possible minute with all her family. She is preceded by her parents, James and Dorothy Satchfield; husband, Gerry Tindle. Lynette is survived by her daughters, Glenda Tindle Otts (Chip) and Allison Tindle Strongosky (Eric); son, Gerald Tindle (Lindsey); grandchildren, Kamryn Otts, Kellar Otts, Lindsey Strongosky, McCain Tindle, Hayes Tindle and Tatum Tindle.
