Mr. Lee C Bizzell, 90, of Pace went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Cleveland, MS. A visitation honoring Mr. Bizzell will be held Saturday, October 10,2020 from 1-2PM at Ray Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00P.M. at Ray Funeral Home. A Graveside service is pending due to inclement weather. Lee was born May 16, 1930 to Ira and Vinnie Bizzell in Strayhorn, MS. He graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in agriculture. He married the love of his life Mrs. Rose Dickerson on Christmas Day in 1956 in Sallis, MS. Lee served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was actively involved in the community serving in many capacities. He served as Farm Bureau president, director Delta Council, District Director Riverside Fertilizer Association, District Governor of Lions Club of MS, Boy Scout Troop Leader, and School Board President at Bayou Academy. He received the Scout Key Award. He farmed for 65 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Vinnie Bizzell; brothers, Richard Henry Bizzell, Rayford Bizzell, and Ira Daniel Bizzell; sisters, Georgia Palmer and Polly Nestle. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Rose Bizzell; daughter, Rita Lee Bizzell Hewell (Joel) of Apex, N.C; grandchildren, Taylor Merritt (Cason), Eric Bizzell Hewell (McCall) of Raleigh, NC; brother, Frank Bizzell of Dallas, TX.
