My condolences to everyone in the family and friends that were close. My daughter that is now 13 was in her class when she was in Stanley Switlik. She has been with liz every step of her way since she left the school and went to middle school. She was a dear friend of ours and close one at that. We shared photos on Facebook together and chatted about how grown the girls were growing. She will be very missed dearly and this saddens us with a broken heart.
Remembering a great gal, friend to many during her years in Milford, Ohio. She will be missed by many. I always enjoyed hearing from her. Love and prayers to all.
May she Rest In Peace.
My son Eddie knew Mrs. Dot from the PDS afterschool program and remembers her quite fondly. He asked me to type out his memories for Mrs. Dot's family and friends:
"Mrs. Dot was always nice. Whenever I saw her, she was always caring for the little ones so nicely. She always had a happy attitude. She loved teaching the little ones. I know that because one of the kids in my class has a sister in 3K and says Mrs. Dot was the nicest teacher ever. The girl cried when Mrs. Dot didn't come back because she loved her so much. I loved her too. It's very sad but I know she is with Jesus. I'm very sad because I liked her. I will miss her. Love from Eddie, age 8."
Our deepest thoughts and most fervent prayers go out to the DeFillips family. Please know that Ms Dot’s legacy is filled all over this world in the millions of lives that have been touched by simply just knowing her. We grieve alongside you & remember her with you. May the Lord bless you and comfort you in this time of grief and sadness. ❤️❤️❤️
A wonderful woman will be missed by all of us and the wonderful kids she taught.
